Albumin-bound paclitaxel(Apexelsin) takes the advantage of nanotechnology to combine the drug substance with human albumin to generate nanoparticles with improved solubility, featured by "Three Highs and One Low", i.e. high dose, high distribution in tumor tissue, high efficacy, and low toxicity. Albumin-bound paclitaxel is recommended by the NCCN and CSCO guidelines for the treatment of breast cancer. Indications
Metastatic breast cancer after failure of combination chemotherapy or breast cancer within 6 months after adjuvant chemotherapy.
